Chin Enhancement

Indications
The goal of the surgery is to bring the chin into better balance with the rest of the face. More often than not this procedure is combined with nose reshaping surgery(Rhinoplasty). Many patients feel like they have a 'weak' chin when the size of the nose is more of a factor.

The goal of the surgery to create a more harmonious balance to the face.

Where does the surgery take place?
This surgery is typically performed in a surgey center.

The Implants
Chin implants are made of solid silicone. Multiple sizes are available. Samples are available for you to see in our office.

Anesthesia
General Anesthesia is preferred.

Hospital Stay
This procedure is done as an outpatient. If it is combined with a Rhinoplasty an overnight stay may be preferred.

Recovery
Most patients are back to a near normal routine in 3 to 5 days.

Follow-up
Two or three visits are required after surgery.

Complications
Complications are rare but can occur. These will be discussed at the time of yoru consultation

Fees
An approximate cost for this procedure is $2400 to $2600. If combined with a Rhinoplasty the cost will increase.
