Board Re-Certification

Starting early in 2006 Dr. Corbett began preparations for his re-certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Corbett's original certification does not expire until 2009 but in an effort to demonstrate his mastery of the most up to date techniques and knowledge in Cosmetic Surgery, he chose to complete the process earlier than required.

The process involved a thorough evalution of his practice by the Board including reviews of his surgical cases, their outcomes, and evaluations by the heads of the Surgical departments at the hospitals where he holds privileges. After this information was scrutinized by the Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Corbett was approved to take a comprehensive written exam to test his knowledge of core Plastic Surgery with a strong emphasis on his area of expertise, Cosmetic Plastic Surgery. We are proud to announce that Dr. Corbett easily passed his exam outscoring the vast majority of his peers nationally!

Dr. Corbett now holds Board Certification with the American Board of Plastic Surgery through 2019.
